Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in | ||

I, SIMON HARRIS, Minister for Health, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 3 (1) of the Health Identifiers Act 2014 (No. 15 of 2014), hereby make the following regulations: | ||
1. These Regulations may be cited as the Health Identifiers Act 2014 (Health Services Provider) Regulations 2017. | ||
2. These Regulations shall come into operation on 30 May 2017. | ||
3. Each of the classes of health practitioners specified in paragraphs (a), (b), (c), (d), (f) and (g) of the definition of “health practitioner” is prescribed for the purposes of paragraph (a) of the definition of “health services provider”. | ||
4. Each of the classes of agents of a health practitioner referred to in paragraph (a) of the definition of “health services provider” in the health practitioner’s capacity as such, specified in Part A of the Schedule, is prescribed for the purposes of paragraph (a) of the definition of “relevant agent”. | ||
5. Each of the classes of agents of a relevant body referred to in paragraph (b) of the definition of “health services provider” in the relevant body’s capacity as such, specified in Part B of the Schedule, is prescribed for the purposes of paragraph (b) of the definition of “relevant agent”. | ||
6. Each of the classes of employees of a health practitioner referred to in paragraph (a) of the definition of “health services provider” in the health practitioner’s capacity as such, specified in Part C of the Schedule, is prescribed for the purposes of paragraph (a) of the definition of “relevant employee”. | ||
7. Each of the classes of employees of a relevant body referred to in paragraph (b) of the definition of “health services provider” in the relevant body’s capacity as such, specified in Part D of the Schedule, is prescribed for the purposes of paragraph (b) of the definition of “relevant employee”. | ||
