S.I. No. 519/2017 - Commercial Vehicle Roadworthiness (Vehicle Testing) (Amendment) (Revocation) Regulations 2017


Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

“Iris Oifigiúil” of 24th November, 2017.

I, SHANE ROSS, Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by sections 4 , 5 , 9 , 28 and 38 of the Road Safety Authority (Commercial Vehicle Roadworthiness) Act 2012 (No. 16 of 2012) and for the purpose of giving effect to Directive 2014/45/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council of 3 April 20141 hereby make the following regulations:

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Commercial Vehicle Roadworthiness (Vehicle Testing) (Amendment) (Revocation) Regulations 2017.

2. The Commercial Vehicle Roadworthiness (Vehicle Testing) (Amendment) Regulations 2017 ( S.I. No. 413 of 2017 ) are revoked.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the Instrument and does not purport to be a legal interpretation.)

The purpose of these regulations is to revoke S.I. No. 413 of 2017 which needs to be revoked for technical reasons.
