Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in | ||

I, Michael Creed, Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 36 of the Animal Health and Welfare Act 2013 (No. 15 of 2013) for the purpose, inter alia, of giving full effect to Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 20161 , hereby make the following regulations: | ||
1. These Regulations may be cited as the Bovine Viral Diarrhoea (Amendment) Regulations 2018 and come into operation on 25 May 2018. | ||
2. Regulation 3 of the Bovine Viral Diarrhoea Regulations 2017 is amended by the insertion, after paragraph 2, of— | ||
“(3) The operator of a designated laboratory shall provide the results of tests carried out on a sample for the purposes of these Regulations, with such information as is necessary to identify the sample and person concerned, to the Minister. | ||
(4) The Minister and any person designated by the Minister may, to monitor compliance with these Regulations, process data relating to tests carried out for the purposes of these Regulations.”. | ||
