Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in | ||
“Iris Oifigiúil” of 29th May, 2018. | ||
I, CHARLES FLANAGAN, Minister for Justice and Equality, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by subsection (2) of section 1 of the Criminal Law (Sexual Offences) Act 2017 (No. 2 of 2017), hereby order as follows: | ||
1. This Order may be cited as the Criminal Law (Sexual Offences) Act 2017 (Commencement) (No. 2) Order 2018. | ||
2. The 30th day of May 2018 is appointed as the day on which the following provisions of the Criminal Law (Sexual Offences) Act 2017 (No. 2 of 2017) shall come into operation: | ||
(a) section 33; | ||
(b) section 34; | ||
(c) section 35; | ||
(d) section 36 insofar as it inserts section 14C in the Criminal Evidence Act 1992 (no. 12 of 1992); | ||
(e) section 37; | ||
(f) section 39; | ||
(g) section 40. | ||
