Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in | ||

I, SIMON HARRIS, Minister for Health, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 5 (3) of the Health (General Practitioner Service) Act 2018 (No. 13 of 2018), hereby orders as follows: | ||
1. This order may be cited as the Health (General Practitioner Service) Act 2018 (Commencement) Order 2018. | ||
2. The 1st day of September 2018 is appointed as the day on which the Health (General Practitioner Service) Act 2018 (No. 13 of 2018) shall come into operation. | ||

(This note is not part of the Instrument and does not purport to be a legal interpretation.) | ||
This Order brings into operation all sections of the Health (General Practitioner Service) Act 2018 which provides for the making available of a general practitioner medical and surgical service to persons in receipt of Carer’s Allowance (full or half rate) or Carer’s Benefit. |
