Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

“Iris Oifigiúil” of 13th December, 2019.

I, CHARLES FLANAGAN, Minister for Justice and Equality, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 1 (5) of the Children and Family Relationships Act 2015 (No. 9 of 2015), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Children and Family Relationships Act 2015 (Commencement of Certain Provisions) Order 2019.

2. The 4th day of May 2020 is appointed as the day on which the following provisions of the Children and Family Relationships Act 2015 (No. 9 of 2015) shall come into operation:

(a) Part 4, insofar as it is not already in operation;

(b) Part 5, insofar as it is not already in operation;

(c) Part 6, insofar as it is not already in operation;

(d) Part 7, insofar as it is not already in operation;

(e) Part 12, insofar as it is not already in operation;

(f) section 176.

This Order appoints 4 May 2020 as the day on which Parts 4, 5, 6, 7 and 12, insofar as they are not already in operation, and section 176 of the Children and Family Relationships Act 2015 (No. 9 of 2015) shall come into operation.
