Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in | ||

I, SIMON COVENEY, Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 7 (2) of the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons Act 2019 (No. 40 of 2019), hereby order as follows: | ||
1. This Order may be cited as the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons Act 2019 (Commencement) Order 2020. | ||
2. The 31st day of January 2020 is appointed as the day on which the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons Act 2019 (No. 40 of 2019) shall come into operation. | ||
