Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in | ||

I, CHARLIE MCCONALOGUE, Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 7 of the Animal Health and Welfare Act 2013 (No. 15 of 2013), hereby make the following order: | ||
1. This Order may be cited as the Animal Health and Welfare Act 2013 (Application to specified diseases) Order 2020. | ||
2. The provisions of the Animal Health and Welfare Act 2013 apply to each disease specified in the Schedule. | ||
3. The following are revoked: | ||
(a) the Animal Health and Welfare Act 2013 (Application to tuberculosis) Order 2014 ( S.I. No. 109 of 2014 ), and | ||
(b) the Animal Health and Welfare Act (Application of Act to Disease) Order 2018 ( S.I. No. 135 of 2018 ). | ||
Schedule | ||
1. Batrachchytrium salamandrivorans (BSa1). | ||
2. Bovine genital campylobacteriosis. | ||
3. Foot pad dermatitis in poultry. | ||
4. Heartwater. | ||
5. Leishmaniasis. | ||
6. Tuberculosis in animals other than ruminants. | ||
7. All diseases that may be transmitted to an animal from a human or to a human from an animal, other than a zoonotic disease referred to in Schedule 3 to the Animal Health and Welfare Act 2013 , or otherwise referred to in this Schedule. | ||
