I, HELEN MCENTEE, Minister for Justice, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 5 (2) of the Criminal Justice (Engagement of Children in Criminal Activity) Act 2024 (No. 8 of 2024), hereby order as follows: | ||
1. This Order may be cited as the Criminal Justice (Engagement of Children in Criminal Activity) Act 2024 (Commencement) Order 2024. | ||
2. The 24th day of May 2024 is appointed as the day on which the Criminal Justice (Engagement of Children in Criminal Activity) Act 2024 (No. 8 of 2024) shall come into operation. | ||
