50.(1) An authorised person may, on production if required of his credentials, at any reasonable time enter any home for persons in need or other premises in which a person is or is proposed to be accommodated under arrangements made by the Ministry and (a)inspect the premises; and (b)make such examination into the state and management thereof and the condition and treatment of persons therein as he thinks fit. (2) The power of entry and inspection conferred by paragraph (1) may be exercised by an authorised person in respect of any premises which he has reasonable cause to believe are being used as premises in respect of which a person should be registered under this Order. (3) If any person wilfully obstructs an authorised person in the execution of his duties under this Article he shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding #20.
