LIFE INSURANCE (IRELAND) ACT 1866 - LONG TITLE

An Act to amend the Law relating to Life Insurances in Ireland.{1}
[28th June 1866]
Preamble, which recites the Life Assurance Act 1774 (c.48), rep. by
SLR 1893

LIFE INSURANCE (IRELAND) ACT 1866 - SECT 1
Extension of recited Act to Ireland.

1. The provisions of the said recited Act shall extend to Ireland.

LIFE INSURANCE (IRELAND) ACT 1866 - SECT 2
Commencement.

2. This Act shall commence and take effect from and after the
first day of November in the year one thousand eight hundred and
sixty-six, and shall apply to all policies of insurance upon lives
entered into upon and after that date.
