MARRIAGE AND MATRIMONIAL CAUSES ACT (NORTHERN IRELAND) 1946 - SECT 2

Age in years of parties to be stated on registration of marriage.

2.(1) After the passing of this Act every entry of the particulars relating to
a marriage required by law to be made in a marriage register book, register
book or register of marriages, and every certificate issued for the purpose of
the registration of a marriage and certifying that a marriage has been
solemnized shall contain a statement of [the date of birth and] the age in
years, on the date of the marriage, of each party thereto.

(2) Schedule G of the Marriages (Ireland) Act, 1844 (which contains the form
in which entries are to be made in a marriage register book), Form (A) of the
Schedule to the Registration of Marriages (Ireland) Act, 1863, and the
Schedule to the
Matrimonial Causes and Marriage Law (Ireland) Amendment Act, 1871 (which
relate to certificates issued for the purpose of the registration of
marriages) shall have effect subject to the provisions of this section.
