Disclosure of returns and information. 10.(1) An individual return or part of a return furnished under this Act shall not be disclosed without the authority of the person by whom the return was made. (2) A person shall not disclose any information relating to an individual person or business obtained by him in the exercise of his powers under this Act and no information so obtained shall be disclosed, whether as general statistics or otherwise, except by or with the consent of the Ministry. (3) Subsections (1) and (2) shall not apply to the disclosure of a return or part of a return or of information (a)in so far as the disclosure is required for the purposes of a prosecution or other legal proceedings under this Act; or (b)in so far as the disclosure is required or authorised by this Act or regulations made thereunder.
