Short title and construction. 2. This Act may be cited as the Merchant Shipping (Certificates) Act, 1914, and the provisions of this Act shall be construed as if they were contained in Part II of the Merchant Shipping Act, 1894; and the Merchant Shipping Acts, 1894 to 1913, and this Act may be cited together as the Merchant Shipping Acts, 1894 to 1914.
