AGRICULTURE

The Financial Assistance for Young Farmers Scheme (Amendment) Order (Northern Ireland) 2005

  Made 2nd December 2005 
  Coming into operation 23rd December 2005 

The Department of Agriculture and Rural Development makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by Article 3 (1) to (4) and (7) of the Financial Assistance for Young Farmers (Northern Ireland) Order 2004[1].

Citation and commencement
     1. This Order may be cited as the Financial Assistance for Young Farmers Scheme (Amendment) Order (Northern Ireland) 2005 and shall come into operation on 23rd December 2005.

Amendment of the Financial Assistance for Young Farmers Scheme Order (Northern Ireland) 2005
     2. In paragraph 5 of the Schedule to the Financial Assistance for Young Farmers Scheme Order (Northern Ireland) 2005[2] (closing date for applications) for the words "3rd April 2008" there shall be substituted the words "5th June 2008".

This Order extends the closing date for applications for a grant under the Financial Assistance for Young Farmers Scheme (Northern Ireland) 2005 from 3rd April 2008 to 5th June 2008.
