Coming into operation
1st April 2008
1. This Order may be cited as the Pig Production Development (Levy) Revocation (No 2) Order (Northern Ireland) 2008 and shall come into operation on 1st April 2008.
2. The following Orders are revoked:
(a) the Pig Production Development (Levy) Order (Northern Ireland) 1996 (4); and
(b) the Pig Production Development (Levy) Revocation Order (Northern Ireland) 2008 (5).

This Order revokes the Pig Production Development (Levy) Order (NI) 1996 consequential upon the dissolution of the Pig Production Development Committee (by S.R. 2007 No. 354). The Committee is dissolved and liability for levy ceases on 31 March 2008.
The Order also revokes the Pig Production Development (Levy) Revocation Order (Northern Ireland) 2008 (S.R. 2008 No.25) which contained an error rendering it ineffective.
