The Department of the Environment makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by Article 1(2) of the Local Government (Northern Ireland) Order 2005(1).
1. This Order may be cited as the Local Government (2005 Order) (Commencement No. 3) Order (Northern Ireland) 2012.
2. The day appointed for the coming into operation of Article 33 (Indemnities for members and officers) of the Local Government (Northern Ireland) Order 2005 shall be 26th November 2012.

This Order brings into operation the last remaining provision, Article 33 (Indemnities for members and officers), of the Local Government (Northern Ireland) Order 2005.
