1. This Order may be cited as the Taxis (2008 Act) (Commencement No. 6) Order (Northern Ireland) 2021.
2. The day appointed for the coming into operation of the provisions of the Taxis Act (Northern Ireland) 2008 specified in the Schedule is 20th December 2021.

Payment of grants |

This Order brings into operation on the 20th December 2021 section 51 of the Taxis Act (Northern Ireland) 2008 (“ the Act”).
Section 51 allows the Department, with the approval of the Department of Finance, to pay grants in connection with any provision of, or the purposes of the Act and to determine the terms and conditions of those grants.
(This note is not part of the Order)
The following provisions of the Taxis Act (Northern Ireland) 2008 have been brought into operation by commencement orders made before the date of this Order
