EDUCATION

The Adam Smith College, Fife (Establishment) Order 2005

  Made 31st May 2005 
  Laid before the Scottish Parliament 3rd June 2005 
  Coming into force 1st August 2005 

The Scottish Ministers, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 3(1) and (2) of the Further and Higher Education (Scotland) Act 1992[1] and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, having consulted the education authority for the area in which the college is to be situated and any other person appearing to them to be affected in accordance with section 5 of the said Act, hereby make the following Order:

Citation and commencement
     1. This Order may be cited as the Adam Smith College, Fife (Establishment) Order 2005 and shall come into force on 1st August 2005.

2. On 1st August 2005 there shall be established-

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the Order)


This Order establishes The Adam Smith College, Fife. That college is under the control of a board of management in terms of the Further and Higher Education (Scotland) Act 1992. The Order therefore designates the name of the College as The Adam Smith College, Fife and establishes the body corporate to be known as "the Board of Management of The Adam Smith College, Fife".
