The Scottish Ministers make the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 185(6) of the Anti-social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014(1).
1. This Order may be cited as the Anti-social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014 (Commencement) (Scotland) Order 2014 and comes into force on 30th September 2014.
2. The day appointed for the coming into force of section 122 of the Anti-social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014 is 30th September 2014.

This Order brings section 122 of the Anti-social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014 into force on 30th September 2014. That section creates an offence of forced marriage under the law of Scotland. Section 122 is the only provision of the 2014 Act which falls to be commenced by order made by the Scottish Ministers.
