    APPEARANCES

For the Appellants MR I WILSON
    (Solicitor)
    Messrs Dean-Wilson
    Solicitors
    96 Church Street
    Brighton
    East Sussex BN1 1UJ

JUDGE PETER CLARK: This is an appeal by the employer, Triangle Cars, against a decision of the London North Employment Tribunal, promulgated with extended reasons on 16 September 1998, upholding the Applicant, Miss Hook's complaint of unfair dismissal and awarding compensation of £3,710.

Having considered the Tribunal's reasons and the submissions made by Mr Wilson in support of grounds (a), (b), and (d) of the Notice of Appeal (ground (c) having been abandoned and therefore we dismiss it) we have concluded that the appeal does raise arguable points of law that ought to go forward to a full hearing.

For that purpose we shall direct that the case be listed for half a day, category C. There is no requirement for Chairman's notes of evidence. The parties will exchange skeleton arguments not less than 14 days before the date fixed for the full appeal hearing.
