    APPEARANCES

    JUDGE D M LEVY QC

  1. The Appellant, Mr Younas, seeks to appeal from a decision of the Employment Tribunal sitting at Reading on 27 April 2000 on the grounds that the decision of the Tribunal dismissing the claim for unfair dismissal and refusing leave to amend the Originating Application were both wrong. We all consider that there is an arguable point to go forward under the Human Rights Act and in the circumstances we propose to let this appeal go forward to a full hearing.
  2. Because in its Order, the Employment Tribunal ordered an adjournment of the future conduct of the Appellant's application, it would be helpful for all if the full appeal can be heard expeditiously, and we will so request. It is not likely to be heard this year, but we hope it will be heard at some time early next year. Mr Spratt who appears for the Appellant suggests that the appeal will take under a day. Category B.
