Summary: The complainant made a number of requests under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (the -˜Act-™) for information about Road Licenses and Notices and Proceedings. The public authority did not answer some of the requests and for others denied that it held relevant recorded information. The complainant referred a number of matters to the Commissioner for him to consider. Some of those matters were informally resolved and this Notice focuses on the remaining issues. The Commissioner finds that the public authority has breached a number of procedural requirements. In particular, it has breached sections 10(1), 16(1), 19(1)(a), 19(1)(b) and 19(1)(c). However, the Commissioner does not require any formal remedial steps to be taken in this case, because he is working with the public authority to ensure that it improves its compliance and develops an appropriate publication scheme.
Section of Act/EIR & Finding: FOI 10 - Complaint Upheld, FOI 16 - Complaint Upheld, FOI 19 - Complaint Upheld
