BAILII is celebrating 24 years of free online access to the law! Would you consider making a contribution?
No donation is too small. If every visitor before 31 December gives just £1, it will have a significant impact on BAILII's ability to continue providing free access to the law.
Thank you very much for your support!

Summary: The complainant has requested information in relation to a long-standing issue he has with the public authority. The public authority advises that it did not receive the request, but as the complainant chased a response shortly after making his request, the public authority was able to ask for a copy of the request still within the 20 working day limit for compliance. A copy was not submitted. The Information Commissioner concludes that there was no breach of the FOIA and he does not require any steps to be taken.
Section of Act/EIR & Finding: FOI 1 - Complaint Not upheld
