Home Office (Decision Notice) [2014] UKICO FS50528736 (12 March 2014)

Summary: The complainant requested information about the use of Tasers. Despite a number of letters committing to provide a response, the Home Office has, by the date of this notice, yet to provide a substantive response to the request. The Information Commissioner-™s decision is that the Home Office breached section 10 of the FOIA in that it failed to provide a valid response to the request within 20 working days of receipt. The Commissioner requires the Home Office to issue a response under the FOIA.
Section of Act/EIR & Finding: FOI 10 - Complaint Upheld
