The complainant has requested legal advice and related information regarding a specific planning issue. Northumberland County Council provided some information at internal review and further information during the Commissioner’s investigation. The Commissioner’s decision is that Northumberland County Council has corrected applied the exception at regulation 12(5)(b) to some of the requested information, and that, on the balance of probabilities, it does not hold any further recorded information within the scope of the requests. He does not require the public authority to take any steps to ensure compliance with the legislation.
