1 September 2014, Local government (Borough council)
The complainant made a series of requests to the London Borough of Haringey (“the Council”) for information relating to the Bridge New Deal for Communities (“the NDC”) and Housing targets for the Council. The Council advised the complainant that it would not respond to the latest requests as it dealt with substantially the same issues as previous requests and correspondence. It advised that it considered the requests vexatious under section 14(1) of the FOIA. The Commissioner’s decision is that the Council has correctly applied section 14(1) to the request. There are no further steps to be taken. Information Tribunal appeal EA/2014/0238 dismissed
FOI 14: Not upheld
