9 July 2015, Local government (Borough council)
The complainant has requested from Merton Council (the “Council”) information about the erection and dismantling of a particular traffic sign. The Council provided the complainant with some information about the removal of the sign but stated that it does not hold information relating to the installation of the sign. The Commissioner’s decision is that the Council does not hold any further information falling within the scope of the request. Therefore, the Commissioner does not require the Council to take any steps. This decision notice is currently under appeal to the Tribunal.
