Seaford Town Council

The complainant has requested information in relation to the process of dismissal of a named individual by Seaford Town Council (“the Council). The Council refused the request, citing the non-disclosure exemption at section 40(2) (personal information) of the FOIA. The Commissioner’s decision is that the Council was entitled to rely on section 40(2) to refuse parts of the request. The Commissioner requires no steps to be taken.
