University of Leicester

The complainant has requested the University of Leicester (the university) to disclose the distribution of scores given to professors in the department of Neuroscience, Psychology and Behaviour (the department) during the review undertaken by the Senior Staff Pay Committee. The university refused to disclose the information citing section 40(2) of the FOIA. The Commissioner’s decision is that the university is entitled to rely on section 40(2) of the FOIA. She therefore does not require any further action to be taken.
