The complainant has requested information of the datasets used by the DWP on its standard IT systems. The DWP relies on sections 31(a) and 24, to withhold the requested information. The Commissioner’s decision is that DWP correctly relied on section 31(a) to withhold the requested information. The Commissioner does not require the public authority to take steps to ensure compliance with the legislation.
