London Borough of Lambeth

The complainant has requested the London Borough of Lambeth (the council) to disclose their late mother’s personal file and correspondence between key staff members. The council refused to confirm or deny whether it holds any recorded information under section 41(2) of FOIA. The Commissioner’s decision is that the council is entitled to rely on section 41(2) of FOIA in this case. He therefore does not require any further action to be taken.

FOI 41: Complaint not upheld

Decision notice: 166239
