UK Space Agency

The complainant requested from the UK Space Agency (UKSA) information regarding the technical report prepared by the UKSA relating to the purchase of OneWeb. The UKSA withheld the information under section 43(2) (commercial interests) and section 41 (information provided in confidence) of FOIA. The Commissioner’s decision is that the UKSA was entitled to withhold the information under section 43(2) of FOIA and the public interest favours maintaining the exemption. Therefore, the Commissioner does not require the UKSA to take any steps as a result of this decision.

FOI 43(2): Complaint not upheld

Decision notice: 218830
