Transport for London

The complainant has requested unredacted copies of two traffic management orders. The above public authority provided copies of the orders with the signatures redacted. It relied on section 40(2) of FOIA to withhold the signatures. The Commissioner’s decision is that the public authority should have dealt with the request under the EIR. However, having done so, it would have been entitled to rely on Regulation 13 of the EIR to withhold the information. The Commissioner does not require further steps to be taken. Keywords: enactment, article 6(1)(c)

EIR 13: Complaint not upheld EIR 14: Complaint upheld

Decision notice: 228374
