Summary
The defendant in these revocation proceedings requested an interim award of costs above the published scale to recover costs which were incurred as a consequence of what they claimed was unreasonable conduct on the part of the claimant in relation to the statement of grounds.
The Hearing Officer decided on the basis of the papers of the case that there was no reason to award costs above the published scale, but he did award scale costs against the claimant in respect of preparation for a preliminary hearing on strike-out. The case continues.
