The Treasury, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 33(2) of the Credit Unions Act 1979 and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby make the following Order:-
1. This Order may be cited as the Credit Unions Act 1979 (Commencement No. 2) Order 1980.
2. Section 15 of the Credit Unions Act 1979 shall come into operation on 1st October 1980.

This Order brings into operation on 1st October 1980 section 15 of the Credit Unions Act 1979, which contains provisions as to insurance against fraud or other dishonesty.
