The Queen's Most Excellent Majesty in Council
Her Majesty, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 19 of the Maintenance Orders Act 1958, is pleased, by and with the advice of Her Privy Council, to order, and it is hereby ordered, as follows:-
1. This Order may be cited as the Maintenance Orders (Facilities for Enforcement) (Revocation) Order 1983 and shall come into operation on 1st September 1983.
2. In this Order-
(a)"the Order of 1959" means
(b)"the Act of 1920" means
3.-(1) Insofar as the Order of 1959 provides that the Act of 1920 shall extend to the countries and territories specified in paragraph (2) below, that Order is hereby revoked, and accordingly the names of those countries and territories shall be omitted from the First Schedule to that Order.
(2) The countries and territories referred to in paragraph (1) above are-
Anguilla
Falkland Islands and Dependencies
Isle of Man
Papua
St. Helena.
4. Insofar as the Order of 1959, as it has effect by virtue of paragraph 3 of Schedule 2 to the Zimbabwe Act 1979, provides that the Act of 1920 shall extend to Zimbabwe, that Order is hereby revoked and, accordingly, the name of Southern Rhodesia shall be omitted from the First Schedule to that Order.

This Order revokes the Maintenance Orders (Facilities for Enforcement) Order 1959 insofar as it extends the Maintenance Orders (Facilities for Enforcement) Act 1920 to Anguilla, the Falkland Islands and Dependencies, the Isle of Man, Papua, St. Helena and Zimbabwe. These countries and territories are designated as reciprocating countries for the purposes of Part I of the Maintenance Orders (Reciprocal Enforcement) Act 1972 (c. 18) by the Reciprocal Enforcement of Maintenance Orders (Designation of Reciprocating Countries) Order 1983 (S.I. 1983/1125) which comes into operation on the same date as this Order.
