In pursuance of the powers conferred upon me by section 1(1) of the Safety of Sports Grounds Act 1975, and after such consultation as is mentioned in section 18(4) of that Act, I hereby make the following Order:-
1. This Order may be cited as the Safety of Sports Grounds (Designation) Order 1984 and shall come into operation on 1st January 1985.
2. The sports stadia specified in the Schedule to this Order (being stadia each of which in the opinion of the Secretary of State has accommodation for more than 10,000 spectators) are hereby designated as stadia requiring safety certificates under the Safety of Sports Grounds Act 1975.
