CHRONICALLY SICK AND DISABLED PERSONS
Made
16th April 1987
The Secretary of State for Social Services, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by section 18(2) of the Disabled Persons (Services, Consultation and Representation) Act 1986(1), and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:
1.-(1) This Order may be cited as the Disabled Persons (Services, Consultation and Representation) Act 1986 (Commencement No. 2) Order 1987.
(2) This Order shall not apply to Scotland.
(3) In this Order "the Act" means the Disabled Persons (Services, Consultation and Representation) Act 1986.
2. The provisions of the Act specified in column 1 of the Schedule to this Order (which relate to the matters specified in column 2 thereof) shall come into force on 17th April 1987.

This Order brings into force on 17th April 1987 sections 16, 17 and 18 of the Disabled Persons (Services, Consultation and Representation) Act 1986. The sections brought into force relate to interpretation of the Act and finance and provide for the short title, commencement and procedural requirements for regulations and orders under the Act.
