(This note is not part of the Regulations)
These Regulations update the references to the Measuring Instruments (EEC Requirements) Regulations in the Calibration of Tanks of Vessels (EEC Requirements) Regulations 1975, the Alcoholometers and Alcohol Hydrometers (EEC Requirements) Regulations 1977 and the Taximeters (EEC Requirements) Regulations 1979 by substituting references to the Measuring Instruments (EEC Requirements) Regulations 1988. They also correct an error in Schedule 1 to the last-mentioned Regulations as to the identifying letters for Greece and Spain, and make a consequential correction to the Measuring Instruments (EEC Requirements) (Gas Volume Meters) Regulations 1988.
