The Lord Advocate, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 60(3)(b) of the Law Reform (Miscellaneous Provisions) (Scotland) Act 1985((1)) and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:
1. This Order may be cited as the Law Reform (Miscellaneous Provisions) (Scotland) Act 1985 (Commencement No.4) Order 1988.
2. Section 18 of the Law Reform (Miscellaneous Provisions) (Scotland) Act 1985 shall come into force on 30th November 1988.

This Order brings into force on 30th November 1988 section 18 of the Law Reform (Miscellaneous Provisions) (Scotland) Act 1985, which introduces a procedure for pursuing small claims in the sheriff court as part of the summary cause procedure. Section 18 is the last provision of the 1985 Act to be brought into force.
