1. The highways described in article 2 of this Order shall become trunk roads as from the date when this Order comes into force.
2. The highways to become trunk roads are four slip roads, connecting the eastbound and westbound carriageways of the North Devon Link Road with two roundabouts on the Tiverton Eastern Distributor Road at Little Gornhay Junction, Tiverton. They are indicated by vertical hatching, and are given the reference numbers 1, 2, 3 and 4, on the deposited plan.
3. In this Order, "the deposited plan" means the plan numbered HA10/2-SWM54 marked "North Devon Link Road (Little Gornhay Junction Slip Roads) (Trunking) Order 1988", signed by authority of the Secretary of State and deposited at the Department of Transport, Romney House, 43 Marsham Street, London SW1P 3PY.
4. This Order shall come into force on 16th December 1988 and may be cited as the North Devon Link Road (Little Gornhay Junction Slip Roads) (Trunking) Order 1988.
