The Lord Chancellor, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 12(1) of the County Courts Act 1984(1), hereby makes the following Regulations:
1. These Regulations may be cited as the County Court (Records of Proceedings) (Amendment) Regulations 1988 and shall come into force on 4th April 1988.
2. The County Court (Records of Proceedings) Regulations 1967(2) shall be amended by adding at the end of Columns 1 and 2 of the Schedule to those Regulations the following words -

"8. A record of proceedings under Part I of the Family Law Act 1986(3) | (a)A note of the transmission of documents to the Court of Session and to the High Court in Northern Ireland. (b)A note of the particulars of the application to register a custody order, including the name and address of the applicant and of the child. (c)A note of any order varying or revoking a registered custody order.". |

These Regulations require county court registrars to keep records of proceedings under Part I of the Family Law Act 1986 (enforcement of custody orders).
