The Submarine Pipe-lines (Designated Owners) (No. 24) Order 1989

The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 33(3) of the Petroleum and Submarine Pipe-lines Act 1975(1) (hereinafter referred to as "the Act") and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, and after giving those persons affected an opportunity of being heard with respect to the matter, hereby makes the following Order:-�

1. This Order may be cited as the Submarine Pipe-lines (Designated Owners) (No. 24) Order 1989, and shall come into force on 11th September 1989.

2. For the purposes of Part III of the Act, each person specified in Part I of the Schedule hereto is hereby designated as the owner of the pipe-line described in Part II of the Schedule hereto.

Amoco (U.K.) Exploration Company Ltd., whose principal place of business in the United Kingdom is at Amoco House, West Gate, Ealing, London W5 1XL.

Britoil p.l.c., whose registered office is at 301 St. Vincent Street, Glasgow G2 5DD.

Chevron U.K. Offshore Exploration Company Ltd., whose registered office is at 2 Portman Street, London W1H 0AN.

Conoco (U.K.) Ltd., whose registered office is at Park House, 116 Park Street, London W1Y 4NN.

Enterprise Oil plc, whose registered office is at 5 Strand, London WC2N 5HU.

Mobil North Sea Ltd., whose principal place of business in the United Kingdom is at Mobil Court, 3 Clements Inn, London WC2A 2EB.

Texas Eastern North Sea, Inc., whose principal place of business in the United Kingdom is at Berkeley Square House, Berkeley Square, London W1X 5LE.

Explanatory Note

(This note is not part of the Order)

This Order designates the companies listed in Part I of the Schedule as owners of the pipe-line described in Part II of the Schedule. The pipe-line lies between installations above the Hutton and the North West Hutton oilfields, situated north east of the Shetland Islands.
