1. This Order may be cited as the Export of Goods (Control) (Amendment No. 6) Order 1989 and shall come into force on 13th December 1989.
2. The Export of Goods (Control) Order 1987(3)shall be amended as follows:
In Group 3I of Part II of Schedule 1, in the unnumbered entry Chemicals (after entry IL 1781 (synthetic lubricating oil and greases)):
(a)for the letters "I, L, Y" in heads (1), (2), (10) and (14), there shall be substituted the letter "A"; and
(b)at the end there shall be inserted the following additional head:
"(15) Tris-ethanolamine ... ... ... ...A"

(This note is not part of the Order)
This Order further amends the Export of Goods (Control) Order 1987.
It extends control over the export of chloroethanol, dimethylamine, potassium fluoride and dimethylamine hydrochloride to any destination. These chemicals are already controlled to Iran, Iraq, Libya and Syria.
It also introduces control on exports of tris-ethanolamine to any destination.
