(This note is not part of the Order)
This Order redetermines the amount of revenue support grant payable to each local authority in respect of the financial year 1989-90.
As a consequence, it revokes the Revenue Support Grant (Scotland) Order 1988 (S.I. 1989/69) which previously determined such amounts.
1987 c. 47. Paragraphs 2 and 3 of Schedule 4 were replaced by a new paragraph 2 by the Local Government and Housing Act 1989 (c. 42), Schedule 6, paragraph 29. This amendment has effect however only for the purposes of and in relation to the financial year 1990-91 and subsequent financial years, as provided for in the Local Government and Housing Act 1989 (Commencement No. 1) Order 1989 (S.I. 1989/2180), Schedule 1. The amendment is therefore not relevant for the purposes of this Order.
S.I. 1989/69.
