The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by section 113(1) of the Police and Criminal Evidence Act 1984(1), hereby makes the following Order:
1. This Order may be cited as the Police and Criminal Evidence Act 1984 (Application to Armed Forces) (Amendment) Order 1990 and shall come into force on 13th August 1990.
2. The Police and Criminal Evidence Act 1984 (Application to Armed Forces) Order 1985(2) shall be amended as follows. In article 2 (Interpretation) in the definition of "service policeman", for the words "Special Investigation" there shall be substituted the word "Regulating".

This Order amends the Police and Criminal Evidence Act 1984 (Application to Armed Forces) Order 1985 by substituting a reference to a member of the Royal Naval Regulating Branch for the reference to a member of the Royal Naval Special Investigation Branch in the definition of "service policeman".
