1. The new highways which the Secretary of State proposes to construct along the routes described in the Schedule to this Order, which will connect the main new trunk road with other highways at the place stated in that schedule, shall become trunk roads as from the date when this Order comes into force.
2. The centre line of each of the slip roads is indicated by a heavy black line on the deposited plan.
3. In this Order-
(a)"the deposited plan" | means the plan folio numbered HA10/2E/300, marked "The A604 Catthorpe-Harwich Trunk Road (Catthorpe to Rothwell Section and Slip Roads) Supplementary Order (No. 2) 1990" containing one map, signed by authority of the Secretary of State and deposited at the Department of Transport, Romney House, 43 Marsham Street, London SW1P 3PY; |
(b)"the main new trunk road" | means the trunk road to be provided in pursuance of article 1(a) of the A604 Catthorpe-Harwich Trunk Road (Catthorpe to Rothwell Section and Slip Roads) Order 1987(3); |
(c)"the slip roads" | means the new highways mentioned in article 1 of this Order. |
5. This Order shall come into force on 24th January 1991 and may be cited as the A604 Catthorpe-Harwich Trunk Road (Catthorpe to Rothwell Section and Slip Roads) Supplementary Order (No. 2) 1990.

The routes of the slip roads, at Rothwell in the County of Northamptonshire, are-
(a)a route from the unclassified road to Orton (as proposed to be diverted) to the westbound carriageway of the main new trunk road, the slip road along this route being given the reference number 2 on the deposited plan, and
(b)a route from the eastbound carriageway of the main new trunk road to that unclassified road, the slip road along this route being given the reference number 1 on the deposited plan.
