The Secretary of State for Transport, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 11(3)(a) of the Merchant Shipping (Oil Pollution) Act 1971 (1)and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf hereby makes the following Regulations:-
1.-(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Oil Pollution (Compulsory Insurance) (Amendment) Regulations 1990 and shall come into force on 1st April 1990.
(2) The Oil Pollution (Compulsory Insurance) (Amendment) Regulations 1982 (2)are hereby revoked.
2. In regulation 5 (fee for certificates) of the Oil Pollution (Compulsory Insurance) Regulations 1981 (3)for "23" there shall be substituted "25"

These Regulations amend the Oil Pollution (Compulsory Insurance) Regulations 1981 by increasing the fee to be paid on application for a certificate of compulsory insurance from £23 to £25.
