The Maentwrog-Bettws-y-Coed-East of Conway TrunkRoad (Llanrwst By-Pass and Other Diversions) (Part Revocation) Order 1990

Coming into force

20th April 1990

The Secretary of State for Wales in exercise of the powers conferred by section 10 and 329(i)(1) of the Highways Act 1980(2) and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf hereby makes the following Order:-

1. The following provisions of the Maentwrog-Bettws-y-Coed-East of Conway Trunk Road (Llanrwst By-Pass and Other Diversions) Order 1953(3) are hereby revoked:-

(i)Article 4

(ii)Article 6

(iii)Paragraph 3 of Part I of the Schedule

(iv)Paragraph 3 of Part II of the Schedule, and

(v)Part III of the Schedule.

2. This order shall come into force on 20th April 1990 and may be cited as The Maentwrog-Bettws-y-Coed-East of Conway Trunk Road (Llanrwst By-Pass and Other Diversions) (Part Revocation) Order 1990.

Explanatory Note

(This note is not part of the Order)

The Maentwrog-Bettws-y-Coed-East of Conway Trunk Road (Llanrwst By-Passand Other Diversions) Order 1953 provided amongst other things, for the construction of aBy-Pass for Llanrwst in the County of Gwynedd. This By-Pass has not been constructed. This Order deletes from the 1953 Order the provisions relating to the construction of the Llanrwst By-Pass.
